A solid oak double wardrobe with carved panel doors, featuring a hanging space and internal shelving for versatile storage.

CONDITION
All of our items are carefully selected to ensure they are structurally sound and in good, solid condition, while still reflecting their pre-loved character.
Each piece is thoroughly cleaned, and the interiors are refreshed with stain or wax where needed to enhance and protect the natural finish.
 
UNPAINTED 
If you choose to purchase an item unpainted, please note that all pieces are second-hand and are primarily sourced for refinishing. You are welcome to request additional photos, and we will happily highlight any imperfections.
Unpainted items are still carefully prepared before dispatch — we thoroughly clean them and, where needed, apply stain to enhance and revive their natural appearance.
 
PREP WORK
All items are carefully prepared prior to painting, including light sanding and thorough cleaning to ensure a smooth, long-lasting finish. Hardware is removed, and doors and drawers are adjusted and planed where necessary to ensure they open and close smoothly without any rubbing. 
 
PAINT 
We use Fusion Mineral Paint, a premium water-based acrylic specifically designed for furniture. It features a built-in top coat, primer, and sealer, providing exceptional durability and a smooth, matte finish.
 
We can also use Farrow & Ball paints upon request for a different aesthetic; however, this option carries an additional charge. Please get in touch for a personalised quote.
 
Samples
You can request up to four sample sticks to be sent by post after purchasing an item. If you would prefer to receive sample sticks before making a purchase, a fee of £3.50 will apply.

What’s not painted? 
As standard, the interiors of items are not painted, with the exception of wardrobes, which receive a single coat in a selected colour. A list of available colours can be provided upon request. 
The backs of items are also left unpainted as standard. However, both interior and back panels can be painted on request for an additional charge. Please get in touch for further details or a personalised quote.
 
HARDWARE
If you would like to keep the original handles, we will carefully clean and refit them. If the hardware is a little worn, we can refresh it by spraying in a range of colours and sealing with a durable lacquer.
We can also paint existing handles or knobs, or replace them with our stock of plain wooden options, which can be waxed or stained to complement any areas of natural wood.
Alternatively, you may choose to upgrade to completely new handles or knobs. We offer a selection of high-quality cup handles and knobs, with the cost of new hardware added to your final price.
 
EXTRAS 
Stencils, transfers, decoupage, and wallpapering can all be added to your piece to create a truly unique finish.  These bespoke design features are available at an additional cost.
We also offer the option to line drawers with wallpaper, adding a unique and decorative finishing touch to your piece.

NATURAL WOOD PARTS
You can request selected areas of your item to be stripped back and left as natural wood rather than painted. These sections can then be finished with a stain or wax of your choice, and we’re happy to provide images of the available options.
Countertops are included within the standard price; however, additional areas will incur an extra charge. Please get in touch for a personalised quote.
 
COMPLETION 
Painted items typically have a completion time of 2–8 weeks, depending on the project and workload. Please feel free to get in touch for a more accurate timeframe.
Once your item is completed, we will send you photos for approval before arranging delivery.
 
DELIVERY -IMPORTANT INFORMATION 
Delivery is included in the price for most areas of mainland UK using a one-man private courier service. A two-man delivery option is also available for an additional £30.

All items are carefully protected for transit, first wrapped in thick, heavy-duty bubble wrap and then securely sealed in black shrink wrap. 
 
WE CANNOT GIVE AN EXACT DATE OF DELIVERY UNTIL THE ITEM IS FINISHED IF SELECTING PAINTED
 
ON DELIVERY 
Please ensure your item is fully unwrapped and checked for any damage before the courier leaves. Unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility for any damage reported after delivery if the item has not been inspected at that time.
In the unlikely event your item arrives damaged, please take clear photos immediately and contact us as soon as possible.

RETURNS 
As each piece is custom painted to your specifications, we are unable to accept returns once work on the item has begun.
